19th C. Tibetan Nambu Tigma Green Monastery RunnerThis likely would be used as a rug. Green is my favorite color, such a mild yet defining green with unusual tigma.
Nambu is the tibetan word for this woven wool style and the tigma for the tie and dye process that creates these crosses. Crosses in Tibetan Buddhism are similar to the swastika. It signifies good luck and well being.
