Mid 19th C. Tibetan Monastery Nambu Tigma RunnerAn older monastery runner. Faded from years of use. The yellow portion has a diagonal weave which makes this likely over 150 years old. The tigma uses two colors, very interesting piece aesthetically. Nambu is the tibetan word for this woven wool style and the tigma for the tie and dye process that creates these crosses.
