Early 20th C. Tibetan Apron Blanket of Vegetable dyes. Still common today is the Tibetan Apron worn by married women. Generally speaking they are store bought today. On occasion I see village women weaving them on a loom, they weave in traditional method using chemically dyed wool. A Tibetan apron uses traditional contrasting colors. Unusual in the 6 panels and the smaller extension in the middle. Maybe used as a blanket.
